Trine University Awarding Scholarships to International Undergraduates

Trine University, one of the top universities in the Midwest, has seen enrollment triple since 2000. With a large number of students from all over the world choosing to complete their studies at Trine, the university now boasts an extensive list of awards for prospective international students. Additionally, in order to help with the rising cost of living worldwide, Trine University has recently upgraded its merit scholarships for bachelor level studies for the 2023-2024 academic year, with the aim of making high-quality, private education affordable for all students.

Trine University's Chair Scholarships

Currently on offer are Trine’s prestigious Chair Scholarships, which are automatically awarded to eligible international students upon admission. They are available for a wide range of bachelor study programs, including engineering, computing, education, business, arts and sciences. Based on academic merit, as well as Trine’s English language proficiency requirements, these scholarships amount to a generous total of $19,000 per annum for a total of four years.

Transfer Student Scholarships

Trine University is also awarding academic scholarships to qualifying international undergraduate students transferring from other US universities. Eligibility is dependent on GPA, with scholarships ranging from $12,000 to $20,000 per academic year for bachelor level courses. What’s more, international students who have completed the equivalent of twelve credits of full time higher education study in their home country are also able to apply for this scholarship.

With these newly updated merit-based scholarships, fees for international undergraduates at Trine University are currently among the most competitive in the US higher education sector. In order to make the transition to college life in a new country as smooth as possible, Trine’s Office of International Services (OIS) is always there to offer support with making the transition.
